I too answered their call and have been harassed constantly since then.
How can their tactics for chasing money be legitimate business practices?
Happy to group together to take them down.
I have had all the same contact you all have had from them, and their big argument is I verbally agreed to do the trial, and if I failed to complete it they would charge $999 US.
I argued the cooling down period - their response; it wasn't an unsolicited call. I certainly have no knowledge of any other call with them, and they certainly can't provide a recording.
Marc Morgan, Dun and Bradsteet, Harriet Law, and now Zack Hunter... all trying to justify charging for a free trial that didn't happen.
I would like to hear from anyone they have taken to court. They have been threatening me with this for a couple of months, and they continue to be quite relentless. I have no intention of paying them for a service they did not provide.
Once again, I will join together to take them down.
Consumer Protection WA have picked up my complaint and started the process with WBE. I have been called several times by Zack Hunter this week and last and have blocked his numbers on my phone now that the conciliation process is in play. Interesting you say that WBE has been threatening legal action for a couple of months, I have suspected that this threat is an idle one. I quizzed Zack as to how robust a process his organisation follows given that on 1/2/17 he emailed me threatening legal action if I didn't settle the debt by 5pm 3/2/17, yet he still phoned me on 8/2/17 requesting payment before he initiates the legal process. I'll keep posting on here as things develop. And there's this:
