I wasn't particularly referring to your comment when I said how much I disliked generalisations, but rather to the thread title which, yes, does annoy me.It has nothing to do with operating on a shallow level, but how we function as a part of society. Much of it will be subconscious, as I believe this would be. We're social animals and we do tend to seek social structure.
You may detest sexist generalisations, but I made none. I even stated if true it probably occured amongest both sexes. Is it possible that this thread annoyed you and you took it out on my comment, which you assumed was a sexist statement?
