I knew, just knew it...

 
I wonder how serious the women took the apparent experiment and large the sample size really was. I'm sure testing it for 3000 random women is not very accurate...
 
Thats funny, I love seeing time and money going into such worthwhile research.

I don't think it matters on the gender. Some people keep secrets and some don't.

You'd be surprised.

I was recently involved in an exercise where we wanted to ascertain an average weight of a targetted weight item. The average stabilesed within 1 decimal point after only 40 units and after 200 units had stabilised down to two decimal points.

The units were meant to be produced at 10kg so this meant, in that example, that the average was only changing by 0.5% after 200 units had been calculated in the equation.

While the survey here about women is using random sample (not targetted) the researchers would have still wanted certainty out of the survey.

It would have been illogical for them to use a test size (3000 women) if they knew prior that it would not be sufficient to prove anything.

I'm sure they could provide you with their SD if you contacted them.
 
knows a few awesome ladies that would never dream of divulging some secrets

in fact i would trust them a lot further than quite a few fellas i know

jono, the variable could well be the "random" women..

LOL .totally agree actually .i wouldnt dream of telling a secret to a female OR a male ......... wouldnt be a secret then hey ?

but have known a cupla lovely ladies that know a few norty tales that would never dream of talking out of school

BUT


i have also been known to make up a secret about me to tell a "friend" to see how far it travels also

an unsophisticated game of " chinese whispers " ..... quite an intresting game to test ones moral fibres

but im just warped and happy to play silly buggas with ppl im not real sure about at times

The secrets they divulge is amazing. Especially involving sex, divorce and money ohh and cars - not limiting this to the opposite splendid gender.

the difference being we divulge when drunk on friday/sturday nights while women do it over morning coffee talk
 
I'd argue that every woman has a skeleton in her closet that will never come out...

Or what about Alicia Keys... we are supposed to think of her has 'the pages of our diary', I wonder if she'll blab
 
I believe for women its a status thing amongst them. I think the more they seem to know about certain people the higher status their status. So they probably believe. But htis is a generalising comment. I know guys who are probably similar. But I know a lot more females like this...
