What sort of commissions are you paying?

I use Westpac for my share trading since most of my accounts are there. They charge 11 basis points over $25K. My CFD provider's standard rate is 10 bp but they do lower that if you have the volume. The best CFD rate I've seen was 7 bp for $2M or more in transactions/mo.

Anyone know any good deals? I think Etrade is one of the most expensive in the market.

Unfortunately we don't seem to have capped commissions here. For example etrade in the US (which is probably not the cheapest) is $7-10 a side. Fantastic if you like trading in size.

Yes I wonder if ther are any 'per share' pricing providers in Australia?
