Just wondering how members like to dress? The thought was prompted by the decree that blokes should never wear a pink shirt. Well, possibly not, but a pale pink tie on a white shirt with a dark suit looks terrific.

So, how about saying what you like to wear when you are working or "dressed to impress", and then, what you like to wear when you just want to be comfortable.

Of course, climate makes a difference. In Qld in summer obviously less is best.

Guys should never wear pink.

You should probably avoid white or grey as well, unless you are a slim black guy.

My tip: Only wear black, dark blue or dark brown. Bright colours are for women.

Pure and simple a very nice black t-shirt or black collared shirt is all a guy needs. That with blue jeans looks good. Dark shoes as well - no Seinfeld white.

You'll not see Armani himself wear anything different.

The exception is if you are going to the beach, hawaiian shirt!!

Gay!

I like a guy who is confident enuf to wear a pink shirt..............muted pink of course...

Normally dress very casually. Jeans and T-shirt is fine (though need a jumper over the top in Tassie during winter...). Shoes either sports shoes or Blundstone work boots - I only have one one pair of good dress shoes.

As for pink shirts, only time I've worn one was to stir up a conservative colleague who was always on about his anti-gay, pro-Christian stuff. Wore a pink shirt to work every day for about a couple of weeks. Nothing against him having his views, but I'd heard enough so decided to stir the pot a bit. It nearly turned nasty though when I found out that one of the people I was working with at the time actually was gay. They saw the joke however.

for work it's always tailored shirts and trousers.
Tailored jacket and dress jeans or chinos or whatever for going to things like theatre or a show.
jeans and a t shirt for sunday breakfast.
jogging shorts for bumming around.
Leather on a bike.

cheers,

for work its a dark navy giorgio armani black label suit. worth every penny

Pink polo shirts, with the collar up is all the rage at the moment. You only have to hit the clubs to notice that

Now that is horrid, its fancy dress though.

But you can buy really trend pink polo shirts from many of the menswear stores

Sorry stop, but I just can't see this trend of men wearing pink lasting too long

Women should be the only ones in a room that stand out because of their clothing
