An unfortunate choice of words there....

A family member of the 4 legged variety recently ran into the lounge room at full speed chasing an insect.

Long story short = smashed the window.

It gets better too. No glazier wants anything to do with it because it turns out that the window frame contains asbestos putty.

True story yes.

Kids cost more but furry creatures aren't free that's for sure.

Hahaha, crazy kid.

yeah, I wince when I see people advertising “free dogs” or “free cats”, when you really have to be prepared to spend a lot of money over their life to care for them properly,... but of course not as much as the little humans hahaha.

Vet fees are worse. I hope the animal was not hurt.

No injuries to the cat thankfully.

Just a crack right through the glass.

Tip - if you have animals then I suggest ticking the "accidental glass breakage" box on your insurance cover. I didn't do this, thinking that I'd be unlikely to accidentally break any glass and that even if I did it couldn't possibly cost much. Well I got that wrong.....

It wasn't without a purpose though. The flying bug was successfully caught in the end.

I think when one is evaluating how much money you would like on retirement we should consider the costs of a decent holiday.

Police investigating after woman on superyacht arrives in Cairns with COVID-19

A crew member arriving in Cairns on a superyacht chartered for $780,000 a week is one of two people in Queensland testing positive to coronavirus in the past 24 hours, with the superyacht's captain saying he is "fully cooperating" with authorities.
