Vegetable garden

What are the best vegies or herbs to plant in a pot that only gets about 2 hours of direct light every day?

And are there any good ones to put on an indoor window sill that gets about 5 hours of direct light a day?

Making a list, checkin' it twice.

Reviving an old thread but does anyone know what plants these are?

Both are quite small, leaves only a few mm wide, and spotted growing in a lawn-like manner indeed by the look of it they probably have been mown at some point.

First one has intermittent white flowers.

Both spotted in areas where grass would be hard to grow, under trees, and that's the reason for my interest.

Anyone know?

There are some apps you can use that identify plants. Free too. PlantNet is the one I use.
