USA ousting governments they don't like: What happens afterwards?

I had a dream last night...

I dreamt that someone, somehow hacked into the controls of the US drone fleet and redirected a drone to a US asset and blew it to kingdom come.

Very karmic dream.Just wondering how realistic this scenario would be and who could be potentially responsible for it.

Libya was a huge success...Turkey wants to send troops there to support current UN recognised government. The challenging warlord is backed by Egypt ,Russia etc. Remember Obama bragging that he was responsible for the overthrow of Gadaffi. Make sense of all this killing and mayhem if you will.

What I read and to me it makes sense....the US wants to stop Iran having an unimpeded route through Iraq and Syria to support Hezbellah...The whole middle east operations are in support of Israel as I see it.Makes you wonder how the so-called Syrian uprising started? It never made sense to me why they overthrew the Sunni regime in Iraq.I thought that was a balance against the Shia Iran. They did support Saddam against Iran in that horrific war...and then they turned on him..It is said that George W Bush did not know there was a Islamic divide between Sunni and Shia-sounds right.

I think the U.S may as well remove themselves from the middle east, they are unwelcome, they have to a great degree achieved what they set out to do, on all fronts.
So it is becoming a pointless excercise that is just creating more turmoil than it is sorting, the middle east has become very first World on the back of their oil exports, I can't see their further development being curtailed without a lot of civil unrest.
Just my opinion.

Then Russia and China took over the World? Wonder how that would work out for our welfare system and climate change?
Your dream, kind of re inforces the old saying, be carefull what you wish for.:(
But as with most dreams, they don't go to their conclusion, just to the point you want it to stop.

The US could easily be a force for good instead of parading their military strength. One view is that Trump is facing an election next year and needs some issues to boost his chances. As I have said before ,the US needs to talk to Israel properly and try to get an accommodation with others.
I heard Trump's speech about the Iranian general last night-what an evil terrorist he was.He did not mention that he starved his mother to death, kicks his dogs and steals bottles from babies.
If anyone wants to know why Iran is so antagonistic toward the US and Israel,it is all in the history books.

Good result for the Iranian rulers.
They were having internal troubles as the people tried to moderate the Government.
Now the people are having huge patriotic rallies.

A GROUP OF IRANIANS CAME TO THE US EMBASSY IN BERLIN TO THANK THE UNITED STATES FOR THE KILLING OF GENERAL SOLEIMANI.
A group of Iranians came to the US embassy in Berlin to thank the United States for the assassination of General of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Qassem Soleimani. This was reported by the Twitter account of the diplomatic mission of the country in Germany.

According to the embassy, the meeting took place on January 6, three days after information appeared on the death of an Iranian general. “[US Ambassador to Germany Richard] Grenell received from the Iranians gratitude notes and hand-made signs supporting US actions,” the statement said.

An Iranian-born activist living in Germany, Nila Behzadi, confirmed the meeting. She noted that the messages transmitted to the embassy contain words in support of the actions of President Donald Trump “in the fight against the Iranian terrorist regime”.

Grenell has publicly advocated U.S. action on Soleimani. In an interview with the German edition of Bild, the ambassador also noted that he “receives a bunch of emails from Iranians from the USA, Europe and Iran.” According to him, they thank America for the operation, but do not speak out in public, as they are afraid to be arrested for expressing opinions on social networks.

I always wondered what would happen to Gadaffi's African mercenaries after he was overthrown.I hear that the terrorism in countries from Mali south to Nigeria has increased markedly from 2016.I know that these mercenaries fled southward after Gadaffi was removed.

Actually seen plenty of coverage reported by Iranians outside of the country say how he was hated and feared much as a lot of the regime hardly a secret.

Mind you come to Australia saying that and you get locked up on Manus for ever.

I read a novel a couple years ago by James Clavell "Whirlwind" It is about a contract helicopter company working in Iran at the time of the revolution.A good historical rendition of the times. If one was a financier or money lender at the time your days were short. They went from one extreme with the Shah to the other under the mullahs.Anyway it is understandable that there would be protests from Iranian expats in Berlin.I am always impressed by the amount of research that goes into books like that.I must reread that book. That is one of benefits of getting old-you forget what you read and it saves seeking out new reading material.Everything old is new again!

I thought I was the only one like that, I know with a lot of movies after a year or so I can't remember if I had watched it, then when it gets to about 3/4 way through I bloody well remember it.
So now I tend to watch a movie and stop watching before it ends.:roflmao:
Now when people ask me what was such and such a movie like, I say good but I don't know how it ends.o_O

I just heard one spokesman point to the French bombing in Libya as a reason for the attacks in the French speaking countries...just heard 89 soldiers killed in attack from terrorists on the border of Mali-Niger.These terrorists are not to be taken lightly (4000 deaths in the region last year from these actions)
