TSLA - Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ)

I don’t care what the excuses are. Anyone planning and carrying out murder and destruction is an idiot. And anyone looking at rational reasoning for it is also an idiot.

My original point & post still stands.

Lovely to see your stand by your Christian principles.

The guy was a Trump supporter at one stage and was special forces. The incident is very odd as he could have fashioned a way better bomb. He was pro Ukraine and his wife hated Trump.
He was also recruiting for Ukraine.
Hopefully they can pull video from inside the cybertruck.

Waiting in the airport I read an interesting article about Robyn Denholm, a great Aussie asset.

If you can get a copy of Forbes, have a read.

That pay deal thrust Denholm into the spotlight in January 2024 when a Delaware judge, Kathaleen McCormick, said she had a “lackadaisical approach” to her duties. McCormick voided Musk's package, which had grown with Tesla's share price to the "unfath-omable sum" of US$56 billion.
"That is crap," Denholm told the Financial Times, responding to the use of "lackadaisical". "I had to look up that word. Anybody who knows me knows I am not lackadaisical. It is probably the furthest from the truth. I am really intense and very diligent in what I do.”
She told the FT that selling a tranche of her shares in Tesla had given her independence from it. "If I didn't agree with something that was going on at the company, I could walk away tomorrow," she said.
Defending Musk's enormous payout, the largest in corporate history, Denholm said that when the bonus target was set, few people thought he could reach it. And if he failed to reach it, he got nothing. "Put yourself in Elon's shoes. You've worked incredibly hard over six years to lead the company through transformative growth. Nobody thought these goals were possible in 2018.
I remember talking to shareholders, and they'd say, 'Robyn, what are you going to do when he doesn't hit the goals and he's demotivated?"
When Musk signed the contract, the company's market cap was US$53 billion. It got as high as US$1
trillion before falling away sharply. [But had risen with Trump's election win back to almost US$1 trillion at the time of going to press.]
Denholm maintained that she does push back against Musk "all the time". "I'm not going to do it in public. That is the antithesis of good governance," she told CNBC in June after reinstating Musk's pay.
"We're making sure we get the best outcome for shareholders, but we're doing it respectfully. Elon is a great asset to the company and the future of the company."

Interesting that Abbott has come out and basically pointed a finger at bureaucrat leftists. WEF is entrenched across a multitude of areas and has caused huge problems across the world.
Every "Young global leader" needs to be flushed.

I think it's hampered Tesla and will continue to do so.

I think Musk has himself to blame for Tesla sales tanking. He’s pissed left wing voters for his support for Trump, the group mostly likely to buy Tesla cars and he’s pissed the MAGA group for his support for skilled immigration visas in that country. Telling Twitter sponsers to
go F themselves doesn’t help either.

Musk seems to have a very big mouth with an overinflated ego which turns some customers off, more money than sense.

I wonder if he doesn't care due to him not receiving his payout.
I think they missed sales by 1% which is not a lot. I think their energy sales was up a lot.
I'm hoping we are going into another Tesla negative news cycle. It's a weird noticeable thing with this stock.

I am wondering if TESLA has now reached that "maturing age", where most of the growth and innovation has been done, and now they can at best tinker at the edges.
FSD may or may not be a game changer, perhaps Musk can convince Trump via congress to make it mandatory on all vehicles.
I don't have an opinion either way, I just think its a possible scenario.

Robots once they hit a certain level will be insane boost. It's the timeframe though

I was expecting Tesla to go back down to the $300 range. But there might be a short term trade in here. Surely this isn't off the cybertruck bombing. It's possible we get back to the $400s quickly. This kind of incident is a blip black Swan.
Ka ching.
This stock is like paint by numbers sometimes

No idea where to post this . Anyway .....

Google this brilliant You Tube vid , folks . It's only 5 minutes .

" Rise and Fall of the Richest Billionaires 1990 - 2020 . "

It's a fast moving graphic . Paul Allen appears briefly then he's gone ( " He's dead , Jim . He's dead ." ) I guess they'll all be gone like that one day .

It definitely doesn’t belong in a thread for discussion of investment in a stock market company.
