Phone: 1300 556 916
ACN: 163921515
This is the newest incarnation of the company who ran the following scams; JBC Global, CFS Live, ESL Trader Stock, Eurosoft, One Wealth, 1Wealth, OWS, GTA, GTA Pacific, Global Tech, GT Australia, GT Alliance, TRP Sydney, TRP Invest, TRP Investment Services Pty Ltd, TRP Financial, et al.
The newest version is priced at $19,800, plus a $1000+ fee for "Premium Data Services", plus around $10,000 for the second package/license they try to sell you a week later. All up some folks have been taken for over $30,000.
They are promising 16-17% profit a month on an initial $2000 investment. Victims are provided with a written guarantee in the form of a "Performance Protection Plan" with a full refund offered if a $30,000 profit is not made in the first 12 month trading period. Of course they will have disappeared from the face of the earth by then. Needless to say, the program itself does nothing except pick random stocks. You'd have better luck with a roulette wheel. Users have reported losses from a few hundred to thousands of dollars in bad investments. But still, people are being roped in everyday with little information available online to warn naive investors.
The authorities have been alerted but action is not currently forthcoming. At this stage, warnings such as this seem to be the most effective weapon against these scammers. Once you've handed over your money, it's a hard, almost impossible, road to recoup your losses. Prevention is the key. Some people have had luck with a Section 82 Cancellation Notice and others have managed to get some of their money back through the Civil and Administrative Tribunal. But of course these crooks are very reluctant to part with the money they've stolen so the best thing to do is spread the word and stop the problem before it starts.
There's a fuller account of the company's history, modus operandi, victim's testimonies and ideas for what to do next available on Whirlpool;
