Guys

I appreciate all your help while I am finding my way here in unchartered tertitory, hence trying to join the dots (or tics)together...

The last thing I want from this thread is to see anyone clash on what methods works because of questions I have raised... as defintetly not the intention.

I've only started trading forward200 (IG's version of SPI) in the last month and never traded cfd indexes or different timeframes b4 for that matter...hence asking makbe some basic & doubling up on questions for confirmation in my head.

I find tic trading to be not for me, as it's interesting, and challanging, but difficult to see consistant wins, hence why exploring 1m to 5m charts so far...

Though I will have to look at greater timeframes betweem 5m to 60m before settling on a couple given some great responses to this thead...

I haven't yet commited to IB because of opening 10K deposit and not researched them enough, but am heading in that direction and may settle with them.

Given the resposes above, I'm not trading TIC anymore and thinking larger interday timeframes (5m & above),which seems less effort analysing, less trembling hands, teeth n feet :banghead:, less time spent in the chair and longer exits, and copping the 3pts spread FOR NOW.... till I get off this cfd platform

The other issue is they have mini's which are $5contracts compared to $25contracts per pt... and opening 2-4 mini's allows me to shed my positions as I approach my exit, as opposed to 1 full sized contract of the same $value..... till experience n skill comes my way.

Appreciate the responses.
