Trading Forex with Interactive Brokers (IB)

Finally got myself around to opening up an a/c with IB, and am having some troubles trying to feel my way around FX Trader.

I keep getting an 'insufficient funds' error message, yet I have enough funds in my sim account, I have reset my balance, and did not solve the problem?? Also get the same error message with any futures contracts too.

Can trade equities with no dramas, it seems IB chat support isn't supported for sim accounts, in the process of downloading the FX Trader webinar now, hoping that will shed some light also!

don't try to chat or send tickets on sim they never get answered! use your live account to ask.

for the error in funds on your trades, my first stop would to go in to the presets and make sure all is set up correctly.
