Tradestation vs. NT

Looking at opening a fut's trade account

Should i go with Tradestation or NT as my charting software? Will be using IB as broker

Both are pretty good with Futs.

Dont know much about NT but Tradestation has good testing capabilities if trading Futs hopeless for portfolios.

I use NT and love it. If I was to have a wish list of stuff that I wanted for my main tools the only thing NT doesn't have is a button to reverse bad trades :

And its free if you don't use it to execute through!

Trade station is best for making algos and NT is built for discretionary trading.

Same boat as T/H here.

Have tried 12 million platforms, sick to death of trying to get used to each one, and then I found NT, and I love it, does everything I want, plus more, so I'll stick with it.

Trade station is best for making algos and NT is built for discretionary trading.

Writing scripts in ninjatrader is possible l found it more than capable of doing anything l wanted. It should be able to do anything that Tradestation can do, there is alot of information on their NT forum.
