Trades at the close of trade?

From 4.00 p.m. to 4.12 p.m. is called the auction phase. Below are the times relative to the ASX. Check their website for facts.

7am - 10am Pre-open
10:00am* Open
10:00am - 4:00pm Normal Trading
4:00pm - 4:10pm Pre CSPA
4:10pm - 4:12pm Closing Single Price Auction
4:12pm - 5:00pm Adjust
5:00pm - 6:50pm Adjust ON
6:50pm - 6:59pm Purge Orders
6:59pm - 7:00pm System Maintenance
7:00pm - 9:30pm Close
9:30pm - 2:25am System Unavailable
2:25am - 7:00am Close

so are the trades post 4pm 'actual trades', do they represent someone actually having there buy/sell orders processed (eg. if i left a buy order that wasnt processed during normal trading before 4pm and i didnt cancel it and it wasnt a 'good for day' order, would there be a chance that it is processed post 4pm)?

Yes, they are actual trades, and you can have your order executed post 4pm.
