Does anyone have any experience investing in the market with advice given by trade alerts. There seems to be thousands of internet companies using a Varity of different investment methods and systems to generate buy and sell advice.

(Paste links into your browser, because I cant have links because of my low post count)

google.com/search?q=trade+alerts

These systems claim to produce anywhere between results of

300% pa - 2daystrading.com/Results.html
120% pa - 10percentpermonth.com/Performance.html
200% pa - etftraderpicks.com/Performance.html
Results seem positive - incomespreadtrader.com/track-record
Results seem ok - monthlycashthruoptions.com/ReturnOnInvestment.htm
50% pa - poweroptionsapplied.com/trackrecord.asp

Im just interested in the experience anyone has with simular systems.

If someone has a system that could return that much would they rather use it themselves and make millions each year or sell it to you for only $2999.95 with FREE steak knives?

Well if you sell the system it has extra benifits.

Ie, you dont risk your capital and if you dont have allot of capital selling the system can build capital.

Then I suggest you have a go and let us all know how you went in a year's time. I think members on this forum know better than to rely on tips from others.

It is perfectly OK to follow alerts and systems provided that you 100% understand the system, know what it's doing and comfortable with the reward / risk equation.

If you are simply purchasing a blackbox then most likely you will be disappointed by the results. If you know the system works well in a bull market, and you don't have a system for bull market, and you know that it is a bull market, then using someone else's system may actually be OK.

I just started a system alert service as well. It's for US equities and a strategy that I am familiar with. Forgive me for not marketing it here however... it works best when less people are using it.

Selling system alerts may be perfectly legit. Business income has a very different risk profile to trading, so nothing wrong with complementing one with the other.

Otherwise, all good traders in the world can only be private traders.

But obviously take system return with a grain of salt...

Yeah I would worry that the more people using it the less effective it is.

Can I ask, did you mean you started a service with strategies you came up with youself? Or did you mean you started to use someone elses service.

If you came up with it yourself, can you tell me if and how to send alerts to brokers to automatically execute the trade?

Lol. Missing keyword in my last post.

There is a "broker partnership" set up by the service so that takes care of the execution. For a fee obviously.

I'd imagine you can call some brokers around and see if they will execute certain signals for you... only if you trust the signal and the broker of course.
