The ASX is powering upwards this morning, but my Watchlist is 50/50 with some of the big names suffering at this time.

Generally a good day as I made a bit on the sale of my CHN holding.
Back in the market for another go tomorrow.
 
Checked US market twice this morning.
Indexes were green but my small US portfolio was overwhelmingly red..so i checked again.. no mistake..
Wonder how it will end up here..

@qldfrog Well Mr Frog for me this morning all but CHN on my Watchlist have been assigned to Midland Hospital for emergency blood transfusions.
I did get CHN at the morning low and am sitting on a small profit at the moment.

Morning Wrap: ASX 200 to rise, S&P 500 sets fresh all-time high

  • A last minute rally pushed the S&P 500 to record levels and above 6,100 for the first time on record
  • Brea(d)th was positive, all US sectors finished green and more than two-thirds of S&P constituents were higher
  • Relatively quiet morning so far for the ASX,.. as well as small cap quarterlies
 
Perhaps today is not going to be "Frightday"
 
The starters are at the barrier and the starter's pistol has sounded. Looks as if the miners are in the money this morning so far. I have a mostly green watchlist with still a couple to come on board.
