Thread Just for Those on the Right

If it is a choice between this and the Labor/Green vision of a Stalinist dystopia, count me in!!!

Absolutely Wayne !! I was pretty sure you could agree with my vision of a Lib/Nat future; after all I am only paraphrasing the gist on many forum posters including yours.

String em up !!:xyxthumbs

Not so quick there big boy. I've had a quiet reflection on the tone and quality of debate on a few of these forums. Clearly there is no place for logic, very little for grace and sfa for relevance to the topic. Respect for other points of view doesn't figure very highly either.

So with that in mind "and if you can't beat them join approach" lets consider what initiatives should a Lib/Nat government take when it overwhelming wins the next election.

Basilio you are like Dracula, one never knows when you are going to pop up again.

When matron brings your liquid dinner tonight, tilt your head a little to the left and place your right forefinger on your belly button.

When she has left grab a stake and hammer it into and under your chest at a point half way between your belly button ( which you have identified with your finger ) and your drooling mouth, and in the direction of the drool.

Perhaps then we may be spared your comments on a thread specifically designed to give loonies of the left some peace on the other threads, lest they make too much of a noise.

GG, how dare you!

I protest! You've quite simply gone too far this time!!

Your post does vampire communities worldwide a great injustice. No self respecting parasite would dare to belittle itself with subscription to (or association with) communist green ideologies!!!

Dracula knows only too well the distinct threat posed to his food supply by contemporary "watermelons" (such as these) and would never, not even in his wildest nightmares, entertain such unthinkable outcomes for his precious larder.

Please apologise to Dracula (and his ilk) forthwith!!!

Droll big boy drool.

As I said given the current state of play on some ASF forums I've just decided to switch sides and see how it feels to be as outrageous and illogical as a few of our fellow travelers.

And of course Wayne managed to back my 7 point plan for prosperity to the hilt. (I knew if I threw in the CC reference we would be apples !)

And you know what ? I reckon there would be a few nods in the direction of my wish list. After all you all decided that Fraser and Turnball are cretinous lefties and Juliar should have been witched and ditched years ago and Gina Rinehart is the golden girl of Australian mining.

Get with it daddio. Its time..:)

I'm not surprised at the fantastic conclusions you have reached basilio, but it belongs on a stick in a cornfield.

I reckon the first thing a Tony Abbott government would do, is to make union officials as accountable as company directors in both civil and criminal law.

This is long overdue.

Unions are multimillion dollar corporations now and governance needs to be transparent, and lack of governance needs to be appropriately punished.

I like Turnbull. About the only person in parliament who still stands for classical liberalism. Small Government and less intrusion on our civil liberties. Yeah, I would say I'm a small l. Anyway, the ETS would have been fairer than the carbon tax.

But compare him to the likes of Roxon...first they came for the smokers, but I did not smoke..:cautious:

Fraser? Turnbull?

That pair of left wing cretins could be called many things, but conservative is not one of them.

Yawn, Fraser kicked Gough out and Turnbul is an ex-merchant banker..................left wing :eek:

Liberalism is indeed a broad church, and a reason I support them.

Malcolm Turnbull has a keen mind and I for one am glad we saved him from the ALP. He is not a born leader though. Rudd was all over him.

Roxon is setting in place laws that will assist unions and the ALP, not workers, 10-20 years down the track, as she realises they are about to be kicked out.

The Soviets have nothing on the ALP, and were pure amateurs in retrospect.

Well what do you know ...

GG suddenly starts being warm and gooey about the intellectual skills of Malcolm Turnball - just after deciding he was some leperous quasi labour relic.

Wayne flicks from embracing the 7 point master plan as the saviour from current Stalinist Labour proposals to putting it out to pasture with the the scarecrows. So fickle Wayne !!

But then thats the joy of being illogical and completely fluid - as long of course as you can define whatever you despise in terms of some Labour/Green politician or vaguely sympathetic supporter.

It's great fun making it up as you go along and not having to worry about any nuances, logicality or external realities isn't it ? :)

I notice that most of your outrageous and illogical "fellow travelers (sic)" have not rallied to your cause of trying to belittle GG. I doubt if GG is worried... he could do you off a break.

Some of the comments from our left wing members, who protested that ASF spent too many posts on right wing thoughts, now on this thread, are trolling.

Proving what a lack of thought and hope for the future of Australia they hold.

Really GG? Well surprise, surprise surprise....

I remember entering this forum along the lines of

Is this thread purely for those already identified as "of the right" or a discussion about the qualities that (some) conservative policies and politicians can bring to a country?

For example would it be acceptable for me to point out the insight that Malcolm Fraser offers on immigration? Or the analysis that Malcolm Turnball has of the effects of climate change and the types of policies he might have supported?

The conservative movement is a broad church. So in a rational, reasonable discussion it shouldn't be out of order to discuss policies from many different quarters. After all it was President Nixon who opened the door to China.

But then given your mono syllabic response and Waynes "kick em in the goolies" reply I thought "xxxx it "

I can be just as illogical, mean spirited and stupid as any one on this forum. And after a few years in this place I have a fairly accurate idea of ways many people think. So why not put together the sort of platform that many here have been baying for and see how well you like it.

Cheers

No, actually, you don't.
So why not put together the sort of platform that many here have been baying for and see how well you like it.
Because you don't have a unifying theme, your arguments so cluelessly subjective and confused that they have no chance of scoring any intellectual points at all. Laughable really.

basilio, you have obviously had gruel for dinner and turned your head to the right, ignoring my above instructions.

I will have to get matron to spank you.

If you feel so strongly about left politics why cannot you start a similar thread on ASF, to this. " Thread Just for Those on the Left " instead of trolling this one.

The language on this thread from the extreme RW is good reason for the strong gun laws in Australia.;)
