Well my tip came equal second. Brownlows are notoriously hard to tip and this year was more open than usual IMO (last year everyone was saying Judd would win and it ended up being Dane Swan ).
Pretty much the only consistent one for the team the whole season! Apparently the first winner since Crawford whose team didn't finish in the 8.
It's always going to be hard for somebody like a Mitchell or Swan (albeit he won last year) when you have a very good team around you (Rioli, Franklin, Roughead & Sewell for the former and Pendlebury, Beams etc for the latter).

I like Mitchell to win this year. I don't think Ablett built enough votes up before his late season "slump".
Mitchell is a proven "vote winner" with the umps. I don't think Collingwood had a good enough year for Pendlebury or Swan to win. If you were to go for a bolter - maybe Keiran Jack from Sydney.
I know: Gary Abless gets another medal.
Being the main attraction in your team and as skilled as he, significantly shortens the odds compared to one of a handful outstanding players in higher-ranking teams.
