This year's Brownlow winner

Well done to Jobe, worthy winner clear stand out in the Bombers team. Should win their BF by miles.

Congrats to Jobe Watson, a worthy winner and seems like a nice bloke too

Gee u lot know a bit about footy..lol...no one picked it..

Well my tip came equal second. Brownlows are notoriously hard to tip and this year was more open than usual IMO (last year everyone was saying Judd would win and it ended up being Dane Swan ).

Congratulations to Jobe Watson -- he is so much like his dad, isnt he?
Well deserved.

Very happy for Jobe... a bit of success after how our year ended was nice.

Congratulations to Jobe...

Pretty much the only consistent one for the team the whole season! Apparently the first winner since Crawford whose team didn't finish in the 8.

It's always going to be hard for somebody like a Mitchell or Swan (albeit he won last year) when you have a very good team around you (Rioli, Franklin, Roughead & Sewell for the former and Pendlebury, Beams etc for the latter).

Of late it is actually better when you have got a decent team around you.

Think of the wonderful players that surrounded Ablett, Black, Aka, Goodes, Cousins in their winning years.

Mitchell is at $1.65 for top 5 placement.
Selwood at $1.28 "".

Ablett very short odds ftw.

I like Mitchell to win this year. I don't think Ablett built enough votes up before his late season "slump".

Mitchell is a proven "vote winner" with the umps. I don't think Collingwood had a good enough year for Pendlebury or Swan to win. If you were to go for a bolter - maybe Keiran Jack from Sydney.

Cheers

I really don't know who will win it this year but I'd love Sam Mitchell to win it as he's had a very good year this year.

I know: Gary Abless gets another medal.
Being the main attraction in your team and as skilled as he, significantly shortens the odds compared to one of a handful outstanding players in higher-ranking teams.

I know, Hodge and Roughead got almost as many votes as Mitchell, which is not surprising as they also had good years!

Don't mind Ablett winning again though, he really is a an exceptional player.

Congratulations to Gary Ablett, well deserved.
