The Warren Buffett approach

Warren Buffett explains why Berkshire reduced its big Apple stake

Did he though? Hahaha, he kind of dodged the question.

Berkshires cash pile is so large now, at $182 Billion, with $100 Million coming in each day, if there is a huge share market crash in the next 3 years Buffett is going to look very smart, if not he will look like he was sucking his thumb.

I love Buffett, I was at the meeting, But It looks like Greg is going to inherit a mighty hand when buffet passes, I just hope he has the stomach to use when he gets the chance.

somebody will turn up , desperate for a big cash injection , and have a compelling deal to offer

i doubt Berkshire will have to look hard , maybe they will be busy weeding out the fair offers from the real gems

many of the biggest companies ( by market cap.) are culling jobs

there will be some needing extra capital soon enough

Charlie Munger talks about Warren Buffets replacement, Greg Abel. (Greg is the guy that Warren accidentally called Charlie in the video above)

I think Berkshire is going to be in great hands after Warren.

Time is running short.

The potential departure of Buffett, who is 94, is a cloud on the horizon. But so too, argues Warren, is the sheer size and scale of Berkshire, which means it needs larger deals to move the dials, and puts it in competition with deep-pocketed private capital giants.....His genius and influence is so great that its absence must create risks. Warren is right to look towards this sad future.
