its ironic how the push comes from white aborigionals from the inner city of mostly Melbourne and Sydney & not from the bushWhat the Voice proponents want is recognition that they are the owners of this land and they want some of the power that our democratically elected government has. That’s why the referendum lost, the majority of the people did not want an unelected group to hold some form of power in the parliament.
The money is not the issue anymore, it’s the land and resources and power of parliament that matters.
And I think that they have stopped using the term indigenous because the term encompasses all who are born on this land. Now they are just using Aboriginal or First Nations, to seperate themselves from all Australians.
