The haircut thread

$43 today. Same place as last time. It's getting ridiculous.

But "look at that quiff" you got.

Had a haircut and beard trim this morning.
$30.
Great value.
And to top it off, the hairdresser told me a bit of local scandal/gossip that my wife did not know about.
She is devastated that she had not heard it before I told her.

Mick one would assume that you weren't laying in long grass when some prick came along with a lawnmower to give that trim and gossip.

Cats have this one worked out.

Despite being completely covered in fur, it never needs cutting and remains the correct length always.

If humans were like that, an entire industry would never have existed. :2twocents
And how would we be able to catch up on the gossip whilst ensconced in the barbers/hairdressers chairs????

With the 100 plus km/hour wind and storm a few days, I don't need to partake of a haircut/trim for a few weeks. The bloody gale re-ajusted the length and growth of my hair patten on my noggin.

Raining in Salt Lake City, so decided I would get a harcut today.
Looked up Barbers on Google and found two within walking distance.
The first one was no longer in existence, googled lied to me.
The second one, the barber was sitting down reading a paper when I walked in around 9.30 a.m.
Said he only cut hair by appointment, and his next available appointment was at 12.30.
I was a bit nonplussed, and said i was already booked for a tour in the afternoon.
The barber returned to his newspaper.
So still awaiting a good shearer.
Maybe in the next town ,Reno.

@mullokintyre I suppose one could say "only in Americaland" obviously has too much money to worry about walk ins.

I was only thinking about this thread yesterday. Had my ears lowered by a lady who does home visits. $15 for me and $20 for her.

I will be checking out the price of haircuts in Vancouver, when we disembark on the 8th.

After tries at getting a haircut in Fresno and here in Flagstaff without sucess, I called into Walmart and spent less than the price of a haircut on some clippers.
Gave myself a no 3 all over and wife trimmed the bits she did not like.
Problem solved.
