Wow so the world cup is almost over and now we have the ashes to look forward to!!! How do you think australia will fare?

I think it's going to be really close and although I don't want to see it I think England might come away with a double.

On a slight tangent I am really ticked off at not getting tickets after jumping through hoops with the Australian Cricket Family since Jan.

Only a couple more hours!! I've been looking forward to these test matches sooo badly...

This morning at the Gabba will be the first step towards Ricky Ponting holding up the Ashes urn! :D (That's what I really want anyway) Just hope they're all close games!

No ashes content in this reply ....but did anybody watch on ABC/TV the other nite when they programmed the drawn match India v Oz .....I was amazed at the strong willed minds of those players in particular Dean Jones throwing up in the center of the pitch totally dehydrated and rushed to hospital........Stuff of where heros ,are made into legends! Great documentary for Cricket ,I wonder if Flintoff watched it or the "Barmy Harmy" ( in fact my mate from school, his son and his mate is a part of that tribe lol)....need to move the tv into my office !

As I always do I'll be cheering against Australia I'm sick of the arrogant players and yobbo racist supporters.

Also sick of the hypocritical comments about England having players from every other country, so it's not okay for England in cricket but perfectly fine for us to do it soccer, table tennis

Tomorrow at the Gabba the Poms will be eager to win the toss so they can bat first. Can't wait to see Mitchell Johnson hurling down thunderbolts at Alastair Cooks chinstrap to see if he can handle the hook shot this summer !:bazooka:

Anyone know where i can stream video feed preferably with Aussie commentators?

There is movement at the Gabba
as the word had got around
that the poms had come to yabba
how they'd raid the convicts ground

The convicts had a decent run
to get out of the jailers grasp
oops the poms fallen on their bum
now set an almighty task

The convicts improve on their form
to back the poms into a corner
despite a ruddy heavenly storm
led by a stormin Clarke and Warner

Still questions over Michael Clarke's captaincy.

When Brad Haddin was 50 not out, and Australia 550 runs ahead, the declaration should have been made. Haddin got 90 in the first innings, and played unselfishly in the second, he deserved to finish not out.

Instead the selfish jerk of a captain waited just tens 10 runs longer, when Haddin was dismissed on 53.

If there's harmony in the dressing room, it comes from Boof Lehman, not from the captain. And if the bowlers are fired up, it comes from Craig McDermott, not the captain.
