Test your music knowledge! Spot the 7520 bands

In the attached zip file (it was too big for ASF to let me upload it as an image) is a picture made by virgin music.

There are, allegedly, 7520 bands referenced in the picture. How many can you find? Be warned, it's addictive.

To start you off, I'll share some here.

1. Guns'n'Roses - Foreground, in the cart. Guns amongst the roses in the vase.
2. Smashing Pumpkins - In the middleground, guy taking a sledge hammer to pumpkins.
3. The Eagles - About 2/3rd the way up the picture, hard against the right edge, 3 flying eagles.
4. U2 - On the wall of the building down and to the left of the left most eagle, 2 u's
5. The Dead Kennedys - Just above the gun/rose filled cart and beneath the first "E" in "Exercise" on the wall is two posters of Kennedys.
6. Led Zeppelin - duh.
7. The White Stripes - Middleground, the crosswalk.

truth is there is only 74 bands to look for . some ive seen are

matchbox 20
whitesnake
hole
angels
rolling stones
blur
b52's
deep purple

I got white zombie and seal to the far left. White snake on the fire escape to the left. Alice in chains to the far right.

Theres a lot more I cant figure out. A mona lisa holding a baby? A little yellow man/alien? Good puzzle.

the cars
maybe elvis in the barber shop windows
the two scissors could be the veronicas
crowded house heaps of people in the building
zombies
machine head crossing the street
the rembrants painting in the window
garbage

Not really sure but:
The Angels are on the left.
The crossing is for the Beatles?
The Men In Black are near the middle?

I'll share some more I've found.

The Pixies are on the left around the Virgin Digital Logo.
The Gorrilaz and the Monkees in the background.
The Rolling Stones are coming down the street.
Alice in Chains is on the right, next to a the man which is Blur.
Queen and Prince is down the front.
Queen is holding the Sex Pistols.
Matchbox 20 is the number "20" made of matchboxes
Just above Matchbox 20 is some spilled Eminem's
Between Matchbox 20 and Eminem are some Nine Inch Nails
The B52s are flying overhead
A poster of a Seal next to the Dead Kennedys
Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Blindmelon, Lemonheads and Korn on the fruitcart
On the front of the fruitcart is a calander with a Greenday
The Cars are up the very back near The Police
The Eels are between Prince and Queen
MC Hammer is taking it to the Smashing Pumpkins with a Tool
There is a pile of Garbage just this side of the crosswalk which is the White Stripes
Crossing the crosswalk is Radiohead and either Queens of the Stone Age or Iron Maiden
Just on the otherside of the crosswalk is Hole in the middle of the intersection
Bush is in the front of Guns'n'Roses
Up on the hill in the back is a Cypress Tree, making it a Cypress Hill
The tree is in the shape of a cross, it could also be Faith Hill
There's a Cornershop
Leaning against the Cornershop is a Yellowman
Just behind yellowman are two girls making out against a streetlamp, one is a Blondie
On the TV's beneath U2 are some Talking Heads
Above that a very Crowded House
Just to the right of Talking Heads are the Beach Boys and crows/black crow/the birds/the byrds
Near MC Hammer are the pink Scissor Sisters
The apartments down the back are a shade of Deep Purple
At the post office box just behind the gunners is the Postal Service
Back left is White Snake
Then some other obvious ones, there are The Streets and The Doors
The Prince in the front is dressed Simply Red
