Well, service everywhere is crap. Sure you might have been shocked and took a few mins to sink in, yet why the hell didnt you do something ... even if 10 mins passed, I cant believe you sat there on your hands and did nothing about it!
I assume you still ate there and paid the bill? Why? So what it was fathers day, thats not an excuse for putting up with that sort of sh*t, is it?
I've had some crap service and never have I stood there and let it 'go' by. The reason, because usually service means I need some, and usually I am paying for whatever service it is I am asking for. So, if I pay, I expect a certain element of service, and more to the point standard of service, see a thread started by TS for other peoples views.
Name and shame them on every website you can find! Stick some posters up around town - print them out and nail them up! Find sites that have food reviews - plenty of them, and post away! Ring the paper! Ring the boss/owner - demand an apology, keep ringing them! Tell everyone you know! Get them to tell everyone they know!
Lastly, what else do you expect? Its NZ.
