"Decisions about headcount reductions are not made lightly as we are highly cognisant of the personal impact organisational change can have on individuals and their families. To minimise the personal impact we are committed to implementing the new structure as soon as possible."

I orignally thought this was an April fools day joke until I saw it was published in Mid April.

Shortly before her death, Ruth Bader Ginsburg helped establish the Ruth Bader Ginsburg Woman of Leadership Award, honoring “women who exemplify human qualities of empathy and humility.” So it came as a surprise when last week, the Dwight D. Opperman Foundation — which organizes the awards — revealed that this year it would honor Rupert Murdoch, Elon Musk, Martha Stewart, Michael Milken, and Sylvester Stallone, sparking instant outrage from RBG’s family and supporters.
At least one of them was born a biological female.
Not sure about the rest.

Lol

She got conned bad. A woman's award being stolen by the right to award men.
The only woman chosen is Martha Stewart and she is an ex con and having Rupert there who criticised her while she was alive almost weekly -well.

The excuse?
The award was expanded this year to include trailblazing men and women. "Justice Ginsburg fought not only for women but for everyone," said Julie Opperman, (especially criminally convicted people?)

So her hard fight to help more rich white men to win awards has paid off with less females getting anything.
Bad luck Ruth Ginsburg -you were a lawyer, you should have written something water tight.

Milken was indicted for racketeering and securities fraud in 1989 in an insider trading investigation.

I do like Sylvester Stallone being the first cultural icon representative. He actually probably deserves an award like this.

Another fine victory in the cultural wars.
