Trying again in the November competition. Have a DD which should have started on the weekend at Marwari and an RC rig also starting up soon, as well as a number of assays outstanding from the AC drill, so should be plenty of news arriving. Have a multitude of targets which have been underexplored over the years.
For a read of the history of Horse Well and why there hasn't been a great deal of follow up despite some very encouraging early results this article from Eagle Research is quite interesting.

EXPANSION OF MARWARI DRILLING PROGRAM – FURTHER DIAMOND AND RC DRILLING.

Key Points:
• MWDD001 was completed yesterday – the hole was extended a further 111m from initial planned depth
• Strickland has decided both RC and diamond rigs will focus solely on Marwari for the immediate future
• A further four diamond holes will now be drilled at Marwari
• The RC rig has commenced an RC program comprising aggressive drilling on a 40x40 metre grid over an initial 300m of strike south of the discovery hole (HWAC1472: 31m @ 5.6g/t Au), plus three diamond pre-collars
• Further updates will be provided as soon as they become available
• A large number of assays remain outstanding from the aircore program – Strickland will announce assays progressively as they are received
• Strickland remains extremely well-funded after completing its sale of the Millrose gold deposit to Northern Star Resources Ltd in July 2023 for ~$61million
 
These smart Alecs at 'Money of Mine' blew me off course on Strickland a couple of mnths ago. I was quite enthusiastic before they put in their two bob's worth. I blame them entirely. It doesn't pay to listen to too many people, getting ideas from every expert. Not Held.

 
Jumped with an exploration update that didn't say all that much on 3 Nov, down a bit 13 Nov on that update, up 15% today on no news.

At close ticked all my boxes for a breakout. Will grab some if momentum is there tomorrow morning.

 
Some more ac drill results out today, extending Marwari 400m. Probably the most interesting part was the deepest hole assayed 2.5 and 3.5 g/t in the last 2 metres. Should be interesting results from the deeper diamond drill holes.
 
Ouch, dd holes look a bit underwhelming, have to hope for better results from the 3rd hole which seems to be better directed. Some good rc results.

Today's price action is one of the biggest beltings I've seen on a Stock that essentially didnt give bad news.

Imagine what would have happened if they had thrown up total "dusters"

I expect this to bounce hard if the next round of results are half decent. (DNH, but if I had plenty of spare cash I'd be starting to accumulate IMO of course)





 
My pick again for the January competition. Expecting some good drill results in January ( December ones didn't quite turn out as expected but there are plenty more to come)
 
Still no exciting news on the drill results in the quarterly, but Marwari results out next week. Results from Great Western should be out in the second half of February and are the more likely ones to push the share price along. Still plenty of money in the kitty.
 
Had a good few days while breaking through resistance. Wonder how it'll react short term to the gold price set back. Guess it could be worth more if they prove up the Horse Well prospect and sell that on too (like the nearby Millrose deposit and tenement to Northern Star). Did consider it earlier but went for Nexus Minerals (NXM) for a flutter instead. STK had the much bigger market cap.

Starting the next round of drilling next week with an RC rig arriving and a diamond drill the week after, so could start getting a few reports of later in the month, with assay results probably next month. Hanging onto the rest of my shares, free carried , for hopefully a few reasonable results from the drilling.
 
Just missed this one with a small order at 10 cents a week ago ... pity as its gone north ever since.

Currently T/Halt ... material acquisition.

Given how much they have on their plate already, they must think its a good deal .... Interesting to see what it is. TH to be lifted Monday.

 
Agree, I thought they have got a big enough area of promising ground to drill.
 
Giving this another go in June. Had some pretty good assay results out last week with more results due soon, so good chance of an uplift in share price this month if they get some good assays . Another new area in Palomino to drill certainly leaves them with plenty of targets.
 
Should be more drilling results coming out this month, so hopefully will be a bit better than the moderate results last month.
