My goodness. Another law I may or may not have allegedly broken. I cant even fart now without breaking a law. Its only a matter of time before the storm troopers come knocking on your door! Welcome to the new world!


POLICE and officers of the Department of Environment and Resource Management raided Ms Parkhurst's home under a warrant indicating she is suspected of photographing and otherwise interacting with dingoes without departmental permission on an unspecified date between July 5, 2007 and June 29, 2009.

A little known provision of the RAM Act makes it illegal for anyone, including news media, to take pictures for gain without government permission and specifically prohibits any recording of the activities of Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service officers.

a photo of QPWS person growing something in a NP
OR WHAT ?

Dare I say it, maybe it's time for Australia to ammend the constitution (similar to the USA) to give citizens the right to bear arms. Then we, the citizens, could solve the problem with these Nazis. You're still allowed to shoot Nazis, arn't you? :D
 
Things do seem to be changing for the worse lately - people use to go out & demonstrate when this sort of thing happened. Now we are all a little apathetic & just discuss it on the web.

Nothing the Qld Govt does to limit the actions of its people or indeed its staff surprises me anymore... you should see the shamozzle from the inside!! Not that I expect any other state gov or the fed, or even larger local govt bodies to be much better.
I'll shut-up now before the knocking starts at my door! :eek:
 
Australia seems to getting worse all the time with its restrictive laws, one day the people will wake up and realize they are totally imprisoned. :eek:

Thank god I have permanent residency in another country which is not like nazi germany.
 
Have a look at the power Aust Customs has. It's more than the police. Had a Customs mate tell me all about it once.

Its not a liberal democratic Shangrilah, but more like the wild west and suits my personality quite nicely. The country is Brazil, where you will find some of the best woman on health earth and the best food as well. But its not for the faint hearted, you need to be street smart and aware of your surroundings.

I have had no problems with Brazil or Portugal for that matter. Nice woman climate life ;)
