reminds me of a song from a band called Frenzal Rhomb, which also reminds me of someone on here....cant remember their name  :D (not in this thread.. so far)
heres the lyrics

I know that we all have differences
I'm not bothered 'cause I've seen them all
I'm the best guy you're ever going to meet
I won't listen to your point of view

I know every paradox in politics
I've been every place around the world
On every subject I'm a known authority
No need to argue 'cause it won't get through

I know it won't be long
'til all my closest friends have come and gone
Freedom, I don't know what it means
The right to hate is part of me it seems

I know everything from history
I don't even need to watch the news
I find it easy with my vast intelligence
No one tells me anything new
I often wonder why no one talks to me
They must be threatened by my charm and grace
I know everything about everything
I'm especially witty when I'm off my face

Australians owe $14 Billion on HECS
For every $100 we earn, we owe $130

WayneL,
Didn't need to go to your Fancy 'Usless Info' (as you put it) site for that ... I found it right here on this forum :D :p:

The cruise liner, QE2, moves only six inches for each gallon of diesel that it burns.

Let's see.......
From my schoodays I recall that there are 5280 feet in a mile, and 12 inches in a foot.
So on a one thousand mile voyage the QE2 would travel 52,800,000 feet or 633,600,000 inches.
The ship moves 6 inches for each gallon of fuel burnt, so if we take the number of inches in the voyage (633,600,000) and divide this figure by 6, the answer will be the number of gallons of fuel required for the voyage. 633,600,000 divided by 6 = 105,600,000
So according to my calculaions, the ship would burn one hundred and five million, six hundred thousand gallons of fuel on the thousand mile voyage.
A gallon of diesel weighs 8 pounds, (3.6 kg)
The ship would therefore need to carry 380,160,000 kg of diesel. Converted to tonnes (1000 kg = 1 tonne), means the ship would be carrying a rather weighty 380,160 (three hundred and eighty thousand, one hundred and sixty) tonnes of fuel. Even if the ship carried enough fuel for only 500 miles, and refueled at the half way point, it would still need to carry 190,080 tonnes of fuel.
A truly remarkable vessel, particularly in view of the fact that the QE2 weighs in the order of 72,000 tonnes!

A tall tale indeed....the character who came up with this little piece of bulldust had obviously put in a heavy campaign at the pub before he worked out the figures!

Some of you maths gurus might want to check my figures. But I've checked and re-checked....I'm pretty sure I've got it right......give or take a few tonnes.

If you are an average American, in your whole life, you will spend an average of 6 months waiting at red lights.
In Usatralia it's double

Or so it seems ;)
