Should I invest in stocks or keep invested in commercial property?

I had two clients back in Qld heavily into commercial real estate, both were doing very nicely indeed, pre-CONVID.

One (mainly prime retail units) has come out relatively unscathed, the other (mainly industrial) took a *** huge financial hit.

I guess the lesson is that not all commercial RE is equal and one had better have a bloody good eye on possible contingencies.

I am invested not looking to. I would like to obtain a commercial property for a new business I would like to set up. But the location I am after does not have a high turnover of property. Patience is virtue they say.

Twice I've wanted a property and managed to jag it by asking if it could be for sale.
Worth a try. You get to talk directly to the owner and cut out fes for him. A buyers
agent works well in these cases --- I engaged a local agent for both and paid them
a fee on purchase.---money well invested.
