Shorting Stocks

Damn.

Might as well tell you who I was thinking of shorting, Tesla. I know it has dropped a lot already but I think there is a lot further to go for a variety of reasons.

yes , a distracted Elon would be a concern for me if i was a Tesla share-holder , and i am sure you would see extra reasons to be pessimistic

an interesting question would be ... if there is another financial crisis would Elon/Tesla be thrown a lifeline in the next K-shaped recovery

Yes, and the fact he is hurting the brand. It dropped another 4% today so I am not the only one thinking this. $160.95.
Let's see where the price is in a years time.

I know of someone who became rich as a 20 something by shorting by seeing something others were slow to see.

I had my chance with Tesla. Too busy with work, a funeral and other pressures but essentially too gutless to do it.
