That's correct. The first entrant to post a stock gets it for the upcoming competition.

Just a friendly reminder to those who are new to the competition, be sure to review the competition rules which are posted in the first post in this thread. Take particular note of Rule #3 which I have quoted below:

3. Either before or after posting your entry and before the deadline for entries you must post in the forum thread of the stock you have entered providing either a general update or a view on why you think the share price is going to increase in the short term.

I think it's going to go up. More people are switching to the buy now, pay later model. This might become an option to credit cards in the long term and more people are using their money during lock down to cut credit card debt and canceling them.

Was going to tip FUN as to the recent spike in value and volume but if there is anything to the potential acquisition then there'll be a trading halt, Capital raising so-on and so-forth.

With SVL taken and pessimism over SEN, There is PAN.....

I Think I'll take CVN.

Congratulations UMike on a convincing win. Congratulations Joules MM1 on 3rd spot. From when you placed your early pick if BRN hadn't made a late run in July you would have had 2nd place. Hope you held some (I do).
With me being a bit late in picking for September I notice that Samuilk has picked EXR, and would you believe, I would have gone for Groundhog Day and picked it again. That's life.

I think I might be a month or two early but what the heck, I am selecting a stock that looks like a forgotten disaster - SMN.

The stock was no where with hardly any volume but for last one month, the major holders are unloading , volume is significant and so price rise.
I would be happy to have 10th place with a positive sign with this one in Sept.

Congratulations for thumping win in August.
I want (not just wish) you to have a thumping win with CVN in Sept as well. Currently CVN is at 50% loss on my portfolio. If you win meaning my CVN portfolio would look healthy

Looks like a lot of ASF members are onto the microcaps and I guess that's where the big gains are going by the last couple of competitions.

So I am also going for a microcap this month.
