Hello! I am just starting to trade on the ASX and I am looking to use a scanning software but unsure where to start. Does anyone know of anything free or low cost so I can start getting my head around it?
Thank you!

Depending on exactly what you want, https://www.tradingview.com might be an option. It's at least worth a quick look. It's free, browser based so no downloads. In a matter of seconds, you can be looking at any chart from a wide range of markets. You can even see intraday data down to 1min.

Boggo's suggestion of "incredible charts" has always previously been the answer for people looking for free charting software. The software isn't the only problem, you're looking for free, reliable data. They have reliable data (so they say). I'm not sure how delayed their free data is, but they offer a free 30 day tiral of their premium data.

I second tradingview. I have used it a few times for a quick look at things I don't have data for (futures, commodities, and crypto). It's not a bad service, particularly for free.

Hey there! I see it's been a while, but I wanted to offer some suggestions for scanning software that could be useful for trading on the ASX.
