Romancing Mrs Duckman at my DIY Drive-In

Thanks for the kind words Nunthewiser and Julia. Very nice of you to say.:)
All the dramas, teething problems with the screen and the time taken researching and building just disappear when the duckings love and appreciate the efforts.

As for what movie we saw Gav - great question! I was of the opinion that the "Duckman Outdoor Movie Theatre" needed an epic classic feature film befitting the opening. Something like Star Wars, Jaws, Top Gun or Titanic.

However after some robust discussions, Mrs Duckman raised some very good points about the ages of the ducklings, suitablility of movie ratings, nightmares and lack of attention spans and we made a compromise. The "Official Opening" has been postponed to a more suitable weekend, and we had a "Trial Run" over Easter where we watched the animation movies Astroboy and Up!:D

Hi Duckman,

"Romancing Mrs Duckman at my DIY Drive-In"

That is the title of your thread, so imo, you really do need a car for viewing, preferably an open-top. ( or a panel van)

For that special feeling of realism, it needs a boot, so you can hide in it while mrs D drives around your property a bit.

She should laugh if the road is bumpy.

I grew up with a drive-in nearby
