well apart from being a glorified landlord dressed as a REIT , there isn't much to say

they buy farmland and lease it out , sure they lease some the SHV , ( maybe still some to TWE )

they lease out to macadam growers , some graziers , SHV ( which mostly grows almonds ), and more recently to small crop farmers

one would think the leases would be longer than the average retail space , so that might be a bonus , RFF pay 3 monthly divs ( which is what attracted me early )

all the joys of a REIT bundled with the uncertainty of weather events and commodity markets ... but then folks have to eat

i was buying in the $1.50 to $1.85 range , it will have to do more to tempt me to add above $1.85 , but it is only modestly liquid $1.80ish might happen sooner rather than later

about half the holding participates in the DRP .. and RFF sits in the bottom drawer , slowly growing , and i would rather invest here than office space

@debtfree

that time of the month for me

still neither fish ( deep enough underwater to lure me to add ) nor fowl ( flying high enough to tempt me to add more )

am currently up about 9% on this

boring but trickles in some cash each quarter and the laggard in my pursuit of four greens in the yearly comp.

good luck in the comp. everyone .
