Is it only my "bad luck" that these sort of queries only seem to occur in Rising stocks?

When they fall the ASX seems to be oblivious/blind to the event and there is NEVER a query!

Why is this so?

This sort of "ONE FACED" spin doctoring should be illegal IMHO

When the going gets Tough the Tough get going as we all know

However
If the ASX was really interested in our Mum's and Dad's they would "Query a Down move" as vigilantly as an Upward move

YOU WOULD THINK?
But they dion't
They are a Law of their Own

Do not expect many if any "Please Explains" on a reteating stock

That is just "Bad luck" and you should have done more /or payed for more research
This sort of behaviour IMHO does nothing to enhance the safety /security of investing on any member of the ASX

Salute and Gods' Speed

I feel confident you will (all?) work it sooner or later if you are are pointed in the right direction
That is my plan but as you all know
The best plans rarely work out the way you planned them to work out??

Do They??

From memory the ASX will query any big move without an apparent reason.

Usually a price crunch is on news. When stock bolts on news, you will find there is no query.

They query strong upmoves on no news because of possible manipulation/insider trading. Fair enough I reckon.

Captain, it appears you may have a perception BIAS. TEN Network was queried today, on a 5% fall, which resulted in a subsequent trading halt.

In my experience, they will query initiate a query if the stock moves by more than say 10 - 15% on increased volume where there is no announcement to justify the move. This is standard practice and IMO, a reasonable way of operating our market. This is especially important in the micro caps (where the ASX concentrate significantly on), where continuously disclosure can become an issue.

Ever since the CDU incident, they have been right on it. Companies I act for have been queried and we have responded accordingly. If the stock is just strong with buying demand, this shouldn't sway the buying demand. If, however, the stock is just up on rumours and then comes down, then it is my belief that the ASX is achieving its objective, i.e. waking up investors.

The reason why we havn't seen many on the downside is that we are in a bull market - everything (especially micro caps) is going up.... Good example ASXG re Ten today, and it actually help stop the slide which was important.

Cheers
Reece
