G'Day Joe - or mods.
Just returned home from hols this week, and getting used to new site again!

Is there a specific place to go to make a referral for a new member to join, or do I just tell them to come and sign up?
In our user profile, it says 'referrals' - so I presumed there was a place to put email addys to refer new members to you?

Hey canny/Raks,

i noticed you have been rather active in the last hour

Personally im not sure about the referral section of the profiles (but i too have noticed it), perhaps its just a standard part of the forum software.

Joe can you shed some light on this for us?

Yes, having had a 5 week 'lay off' I'm trying to catch up with a lot of things - got to get the 'sharp edge' back again, so while the jet lag is working weird wonders on my body, I'm reading as much as I can.

Will look for an answer from Joe - as I have a friend who should join up - but I'm happy to do it the old way if there is in fact no referral system!

There's a referral box on the registration page where the new member can enter the user name of the member that referred them.
