Hi all, I've got a question regarding the record date of company when they set it for special offers. in my case WMT (SSPP offer) and KOR (IPOs)

I want to know when I can sell the shares and still be recognised for the offer?

If I had sold the shares after the record date, would they go back and check my holding status again before they give the offer?

What about the settlement day, since it's T+3, if i sold the shares no earlier than 3 days of the record date, am i still considered as owning the shares?

thanks in advance.
