I am new to equity trading and I have been looking (for days seriously) for a Real Time Portfolio Management Program. I dont want anything complex (charts, technical analysis etc etc etc). I have found many suitable programs that track my share buys / sells / dividends / Profit and Loss position. And that is all I am looking for EXCEPT I would like to be able to get a real time profit and loss position i.e. real time current prices.
Surely there must be a program out there that does this simple thing? Obviously i am willing to pay for the subscription to get real time prices.
I have set up a worksheet in excel that does exactly this and linked it to yahoo.com.au but prices on the pages are 20 mins delayed. I would rather a program that is designed to do exactly as stated above as my excel worksheet is getting messy with all my buys and sells!
Please if you know of any program that can
1) Manage my buys and sells of shares including broker costs
2) That has some flexibility (multiple brokers, multiple portfolio, let me include dividends received etc etc)
3) Most important, lets me update current prices of the shares in my portfolio on a REAL TIME basis (which i am most willing to pay for)
4) I would rather an application that is specially desgined to do this... rather then a html based program etc
I would very very much appreciate if you could email me at owow@optusnet.com.au if you can recommend any program that does the above or have any ideas on achieving what i want to do. To my mind its such a basic thing...
At the momenty I am using Bourse Data with provides me live prices and also my 20 min delayed excel model.
