Hey!

Im new to raiz. I want try a new approach.

Started with 500 dollars. With plan round up invest and invest a weekly sum of around 20 bucks a week.

Fees are 3.50 a month.

I plan to keep this for many years. Am I better off going with say spaceship due to no fees. I'm worried that I will be eaten up by fees but you gotta start somewhere right?

I don’t know anything about Raiz or spaceship.

But $3.50 a month is only $42 per year, where as you will be contributing $1,040 per year ($20/week), so no your investment won’t be eaten up by fees.

At first the annual fees, will be about 8% of your initial $500 investment, which would eat up the earnings you are likely to make on $500, so you would rely on increasing your capital base to a large enough size that the $3.50/week is much less than your earnings, you don’t really want fees to be more than say 1%.
