OK, there are heaps of quotes but one the really bothers me is "You can't help who you fall in love with".....oh please, if I gave you two identical twins (female or male you choose) and you did your research which would you pick? Both are the type you like...in the looks department.

twin 1....has a job, is responsible and kind, very sociable.
twin 2....no job, is looking for the easy life, is kind to themselves, and very sociable.

Which would you pick? As I ask (pick) you will see that you have a choice. So that blow that quote out of the water.

I think often we need to look more at what our needs are when we look for a partner and how we could satisfy that ourselves and not get disappointed later on, when they don't meet our needs.

Just my opinion....are we looking for ourselves? A carbon copy that we will soon get sick of, because they are too much like our faults?

More wrong quotes needed.

Why choose I'd take both

What if you liked someone who wanted the easy life was irresponsible...

You know it's wrong but you still fell for them

for the sake of argument/discussion,

if i'm 18 to 25, i'll pick twin 2.
if i'm 26 & above, i'll pick twin 1.

make any sense ???

:

Twin 1 would expect a lot more from you than twin 2. Twin 2 would settle for less. Take that into account and twin 2 wins.

On the subject of quotes I like how you can choose one for any occassion
ie. Absence makes the heart fonder, or , out of sight out of mind
so its not a choice of which is wrong or which is right ...more which suits the occassion
My ideas on love....well I figure its pretty easy to love someone if you want to...on the other hand sometimes you find your self in love with someone when you really couldn't say why and if you had a choice of taking her twin sister you'd do it in a second

QUOTE

"A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush"

Rubbish, I would rather have either twin in the bush

Hold your horses blitz!!!! We haven't had one wrong quote yet!!!

You cannot convince yourself to fall in love with someone. It doesn't happen. If you can manipulate it....then it is not love. If your example was true to life then everyone would be picking partners after looking at the "research". In real life that "'research" is based upon getting to know someone's personality. From which you will find you will enjoy one's company more than the other regardless of looks or what your brain tells you that your "future needs" might be.

How could you possibly think that the three and a half months Duckman spent living in the penthouse with the blond triplets, could bring the same kind of inner warmth, happiness and overall contentment that Mrs Duckman was able to provide?

"The Bachelor" has the right idea.

Try before you buy,and a rose is a girls best friend when a Diamond isnt avaliable.

Now that you've brought up one "reality" TV programme (how unreal can these reality programmes get!), how about pairing up the bachelor with some of the uncouth young women from "Australian Princess", final episode tomorrow.

Sorry to somewhat go off topic, but has anyone else been watching the wannabe princesses - most entertaining rubbish I've seen in years.

I thought Dr Amanda would win but that is the worst show ever...almost...

She was the cutest of them too imo

Sounds like you made a good choice Mr Duckman.

I suppose I was referring more to the type of people that stay in bad/abusive relationships, yet when asked why...their response is...I love him/her and you can't help who you fall in love with!

Hi Blitzed

So long as you have your own established limits and boundaries and respect those of your chosen twin's would it really matter? Your twins are likely to know eactly how to play each others roles very well. Besides you are likely to see a lot of the twin.

Cheers

True story. I have a pair of tall, blossoming, long dark haired and identical (nine)teen-twins who brew my coffee at the local cafe. In this instance, twin 1 and twin 2 are both known to have jobs and are both kind and sociable. If I fall in love with both, what is the proper thing to do?

Do I tell twin 1 how I feel about twin 2 and twin 2 how I feel about twin 1?
