Booked a flight with Qantas about a week ago now I'm getting spam in the name of Qantas.

How did they know I'd booked a flight with Qantas and how did they get my email address ?

Called Qantas security in Sydney they said there's a virus on the web and they are aware of it, I told them Qantas have the virus not the internet and they should fix it.

When I saw the thread title, I was wondering if the ex-Mrs Burns had got back in.

Perhaps you accidentally ticked the 'I'd like to receive news and special offers from Qantas' check box?

That would be the most reasonable explanation.

No this was infected spam I was receiving, buckets of it.

If the security system hasn't been compromised how did the scammer get the email addresses of Jetstar customers.......it seems straight after they booked.

They send the email out to 5 million email addresses. There's a good chance that at least a few of those people will have recently booked a flight with Deathstar.

There's that but I booked and within 3 days got a hoax email in fact a lot of them, haven't had them before, I can only draw one conclusion.
