Yes I love how they are always going on about destroying the U.K, just shows they aren't worried about the rest of Europe, which is what Trump is alluding to.
There is obviously a reason the EU hasn't been keeping their military up to speed and up to date, they are not that interested and or worried about Russia, they've been living alongside each other for a long time.
Trump needs to get on the program and keep his head down, if he wants to get re elected IMO.
 
I would just say this is great timing with a German and French visit by the clown and a couple of extra billions to be laundered from the EU back to the US agencies, and a timely speech by his wife in the EU.
Poor guy, between Putin and the CIA, he had not a chance

Avdiivka is a deeply worrying turn of events. Ukraine has some shaky defence lines, big worry of Russia busting through with the withdrawal and grabbing more ground. Ukraine troops are tired after constant attacks.


Does Biden want to postpone losing ground till after the election I wonder. Just how far is the US willing to go.
 
I think the Ukraine soldiers are losing heart. They can read the news.

They know that in the USA there is a very good chance that they are likely to lose any future support and that the latest aid package was cut

Hungary also has already said they are no longer supporting and its leader has met with Putin. Hungary is now considered a democracy in name only. They have a border with Ukraine and their leadership is considering the future with Russia as a bordering nation.

Hungary were considering blocking aid to Ukraine recently but walked out of the vote rather than use their veto.

Obviously next year, if the USA withdraws support, they will then use the veto and Ukraine will be left friendless.

Maybe the EU could step up the support?
Isn't this the situation some people alluded to, where Europe has been reducing its military
spending, to the point of actually being ineffective, hopefully Putin stops at Ukraine.

For the moment, Hungary population 9.7m, Ukraine population 47m, why wouldn't putin just move on after Ukraine.
Maybe a bigger member of the EU, could stump up something other than cash, then again they probably don't have much other than cash, that they can afford to give away.

Hungary has opposed efforts to revamp the EU budget to channel 50 billion euros to Kyiv and provide more cash for other tasks such as managing migration. EU leaders are set to discuss the issue at a summit on Feb. 1.
"If we want to help Ukraine, which I think we need to do, we have to do it in a way that doesn't harm the EU's budget," Orban told a news conference.
