Wat a f@rkin wank. Has this wat politics boils down to. A f@rkin waste of paper money time etc.

I don't give a rats the frankyl. the fact that all the parties rea trying to brainwash the public is cr@p.

I am connsideruing legal action against all parties that deliver letters to my box and would like to know how they even received my details.

VERY VERY VERY P!SSED OFF

Here in the election electorate of Higgins (Vic) we have never received so many letters in the mail and junk from Peter Costello, the local member. During previous campaigns we were "lucky" to get just one letter and one piece of junk from each of the major parties.
Constant pestering is very irritating, though I must admit its great to live in a democratic country.

It's a pain in the @rse and acheives nothing other than swaying non thinking voters.

WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY

Flying Fish,

In bennelong, I get 2 letters each day from each party for the past 3(?) weeks, minimum. What a waste of paper...

bye bye Krudd,

You could join the "do not call" registry to stop all unwanted phone promotions. It costs nothing and avoids these frustrations. Try it at www.donotcall.gov.au/

Yeah i got a phone call from Jonny last night. Needless to say i hung up straight away. Its like politicians think hmmm how can we make the public hate us even more. I know lets do like the indian telemarketers and call them at home when they really don't want or need to hear our crappy rhetoric.

Waste of everyones time and money.

Further to the above, I checked the website a little further.

While it seems that there still are some limited circumstances where political parties are allowed to make calls to phone numbers enrolled on the DNC register, I think for electioneering purposes they, or shall I say most of them, are respecting the wishes of such enrolled people.

I seem to recall Mr Howard, who is also on some recorded messages, mentioning this point to the media. I don't think any political party would be brave or silly enough to call people who are on the DNC register.:)

Fair go Flying Fish.

You claim to be non aligned with any party, so to keep things in perspective wasn't John Howard one of the first to introduce this to Aus in the last election in his own seat. As I recall he recruited one of his sons from the US to set it up for him.

Isn't it a no brainer that all parties would use it this time.

By the way, whatever the message, for me it usually comes across with less credability when conveyed in poor grammar and vulgar language :( ... some times a little may be 'cute', but your level is not at all impressionable.

Really. well what is your First intial and you surname?

I really do not care about about politics and have no time for politicians.

What p!sses me off is the inundation of propagator spewed out by all political parties come pay day...

And on top of that they get the best paid jobs in the land and the best perks.

And on top of that they use my money to fund there BS games ( either side) with useless tripe.

That's what's boils my blood.

Well whiskers, would you like to have a polite conversation in proper English? because I daresay my pronounciation and knowledge of English vocabulary far out weighs yours!!!

FF, and then you go and name the thread "Labour party desparation"?

why not "Labor party desperation"?
or "Labor/Liberal parties getting desperate"
or "Annoying Electioneering tactics"? :2twocents

I don't have a problem with you taking sides - but I suspect you have a cred problem when you try to say it applies equally to both parties. - given the flag under which you've posted it.

YOk I should have said political parties... Whatever. The labor party happeneddd to be the ones that called me. In all seroiusnees it could have been "Give me an empty can" party that called.

THAT IS NOT THE POINT.

THE POINT IS ENVANSION OF MY PRIVACY MY UNSOLICITED CALLS AND MAIL
