PEN - Peninsula Energy

PEN is another of my four tips @debtfree

PEN appears to be stagnating in a small well than to flow high.
market is unfazed with any kind of announcemnt

@debtfree

PEN provided a construction and budget upate on 11/4

In part (bolds mine)-
Estimated overall group funding requirement to positive free cash flow increased by US$5M to
US$100M (over same time frame as Peninsula’s August 2023 Life of Mine (“LOM”) model)

• Pre-production capital requirements driven by plant capital estimates have increased by
~US$20M
compared to the LOM estimate

• The additional plant capital needs can be largely offset when refreshing cash flow model
assumptions including uncommitted sales revenues which have improved with the uranium
markets, and other CAPEX and OPEX model assumptions.

The extra $20m pre-production costs are to be offset by refreshing cash flow models, according to PEN.
The $20m will be due well before cash flow.

Redcloud are unperturbed though, they have initiated coverage with a 25c price target.
Braver than me.

@debtfree ,

PEN have today announced a $106m equity raising, adding another 1/2 billion shares to the registry, fully diluted shares on issue post offer totals about 3,522,200,000.

From the March presentation (Bolds mine) - Construction on-track for production in late Q4 2024
From today's presentation - Plant and wellfield preparations on-track for commissioning in late 2024.

Looks like timeline slippage.

Also from today's presentation-
Peninsula will continue to advance non-equity funding opportunities to augment the current funding with other
sources including term debt or working capital facilities.

Happy non-holder.

I just thought I'd post on this dog PEN that has had more capital razings than Istanbul.

Bill Gates is going to build a knuckler reactor up Wyoming way. What are the bets PEN don't do a deal with GME Gamestop to form a knuckler/gaming consortium.

AND

Do another CR.

@debtfree

For this month I looked back through PEN's last 20 announcements for some inspiration.
All 20 related to capital raisings....
Maybe next month.

PEN has some fwd sales due next year so keep an eye out for construction delays.
Any delays or under-performance will lower deliveries into spot.

Capital raising is what PEN do best. The original shares must be worth a farthing for 20 now.

Groundhog day for PEN but hanging in at 10 ish

2 days ago the Traders had finally munched through the 10.5 cent region with a bit of Volume ..... That followed through today with not much Supply left at 11 cents. Promising for holders, but there have been quite a few false starts. (DNH)

Yearly Comp pick.

Chart had deteriorated from 11 cents to a low around 8 cents this month.

With Production set to restart in late 2024, could the lows be finally in after it gapped up off the monthly double bottom.

It was looking oversold this month ...... we shall see.

@debtfree

From their Diggers presentation, bolds mine.

Production capacity expansion from existing 0.8
million lbs per annum, to up to 2 million lbs per
annum production capacity1
From same presentation -

3-Year Estimated Production
CY-2025 0.7 – 0.9 Mlbs
CY-2026 1.4 – 1.6 Mlbs

CY-2027 1.4 – 1.6 Mlbs

I'd like PEN to provide clarity on their offtake pricing in their upcoming Annual Report, especially the near term contracts.

Current MCap Aus$280m,

From 2023 Annual report - Ross and Kendrick production areas yield an NPV8 of US$116M.

Not held.

@debtfree - my monthly quota to support CY 2024

https://cdn-api.markitdigital.com/a...87&v=fc9bdb61fe50ea61f8225e24ce041a0e155a9400. The director David Coyne doubled up his holding for about $10K only on 7 August at about 9.4 cents but he was no better than others to know own company and the current price end of August closed at 8 cents- almost 15% loss in one month . I see the problems could be more here unless their expectation (31 July announcement ) to see production commences in late 2024 comes true. DNH

I have picked PEN for the September stock picking competition.

I am hoping the Uranium Sector in general has a chance of a resurgance with the URA chart showing signs even though not conclusively that Uranium may still have a heartbeat.

PEN is one in the sector that if it goes it can be impressive so here is hoping 🤞

bux

PS. Probably should have gone with BOE
