Outlook is driving me nuts

My outlook email keeps downloading the same emails over and over even after I have read and deleted them.

every time I click send and receive the same 20mb of emails starts downloading,... anyone have an idea how I can fix this.

I don't use outlook but most email clients have an option to remove mail from the server once it is downloaded.

Hi Tyson,

I,ve had this problem before and would suggest that you log onto your internet provider & delete the offending emails.

Yes you need to delete them in your web mail app. Outlook will not mark them as downloaded until it downloads the very last one. If you stop it half way through it will start again from the first one next time.

Try Tool , account, click on mail server, prop. advanced and look down the bottom ??????

Thanks mate, my outlook had a slightly different setup but I found the part you were talking about and it's all good now.
