Bought a few more ODY this morning.
52 week low hit today at 0.056
Did not get into that territory , but was happy to take .059.

ODY released some more drilling results showing the deposit is still open at depth and to the NW of existing mineralisation.
With last nights big jump in gold, its had a good morning to hit .073
Sold out my .059 for a tidy profit.

Some "encouraging" drilling results out this morning may help, but I think these small players are yet to get sucked up into the gold boom.

ODY must be desperate for good news.
Released results from just two RC holes showing grades they really already knew about after previous drill holes under the pit.

Market is desperate for good news, up 35% today after news of a single 55g/t assay under existing open pit.
But hey, I'll take it.
Almost back to my average buy in price!

ODY Shareholders, including me, wseemed reluctant to take up the recent share purchase offer, with a sizeable chunk (12 mill shares) shortfall.
Price already sitting below the offer price.
Lucky I made those early trades, otherwise it would be a bigger negative for me.

Big Big jump today after some outstanding drill results.
Makes me look a bigger dill for not taking up the share issue.
Still have a chunk, but I could have been showered with untold riches.

ODY is my stab in the August stock comp.
I can't say choice, as that infers a level of thougfht and analysis went into it, which of course would be terribly wrong.

Up 20% at the close, was 22% at one stage.
Not a terribly big volume, so expect it to be pulled back.
May get a speeding ticket from the headmaster.

Aggh, as so often happens, the big jumps happen when the comp is over or before they have even begusn.
Up 27% on above average volume.
No drilling results or other announcement.
Perhaps the ASX Gods are just playing with my head.

More good drilling results.
The latest ones show the gold resource continues at depth below the existing open pit structure.
few more results like this and the orebody will start to geta bit of size.
Still a long way below my average buy in price, so will not be adding anything to the holdings.

Of course its manipulation.
Into a trading halt today for a Cap Raise.
The 5 day VWAP will be signifcantly higher.
Don't think I will be particpating.
Already done to much on this K9.

ODY quarterly out, with lotsa drilling resukts and pretty pictures.
But the most important pretty picture is the one below.
With this 376,000 (so far) MRE sitting right between two Westgold processing plants, I am hoping that the next couple of years drilling will increase the size of the deposit to make it worthwhile for Westgold, Ramelius, or even Candianlisted Monument Mining to take it out and save my hide.

I have taken ODY. As my pick in the April tipping comp.
the small gold explorers are yet to be taken up as the gold producers get a boost with high gold prices.
perhaps its ODY’s turn to lead.

ODY starting to get some interest as the market starts to work on the juniors with so many of the larger gold players having had good runiups.
Next stop, 0.025, then 0.028, then who knows.
During the last run up in gold stocks back in 2021 it got up to 0.18.
Would not mind the SP getting back to those heady levels.

Hmm .. won't win the April comp (obviously) but at a glance the chart is holding well. Company recently got itself funded by placement for another 2-3 quarters at the current sp and the project seems to have potential to be picked up by a bigger company. Great location with miners and mills around. The grades look very good and thick although nothing about metallurgy yet: MRE mostly open pit with 2.2g/t and 2.3g/t for each prospect, Tuckanarra has 333kozs mostly inferred. U/g grades for both Tuckanarra and Highway prospects are strong if only small resources so far. Sort of assets that RMS is well known to acquire. Started RC drilling again in Feb.

Took this map from the RMS thread so a bit confusing, but gives an idea of the possibility that any decent resource at Tuckabanna might become attractive to Ramelius (RMS) - as well as Westgold and others. Actually the purple patches on the map are old MGV tenements that now belong to RMS - MGV was acquired. Ramelius's Checkers mill at Mt Magnet is further away than some rivals but the sealed Great Northern Hwy connects Checkers and Tuckabanna. Ramelius has form acquiring distant resources for its mills. Might be a bit tenuous I guess.
