With "the market" being what it is at the moment and cash being safe but rather uninteresting, I'm considering investing in a syndicate. Does anyone have some experiences to share (good or bad) with owning thoroughbreds, trots or dogs?

Only 4% of thoroughbreds ever win enough money to pay their training fees, never mind their purchase price.

It's a straight out crap shoot all dressed up like a fashion bazaar. Do it for sh!ts and giggles, but never as an investment.

That said, you can get lucky and kick a massive goal, but rare.

Marklar,
Me and a few mates have one for fun, never make much, but it's a good day out at the track and it's good to say you have a runner in the field.

The real money in the horse game is in the trading and breeding.
