Metastock Import Historical ASX Data Help

Hi All,

I am trying to set up my Metastock with all the historical data from float.com.au

From float.com.au I have data in csv form for every day (all in individual files) from the past 10 years or so. Now, I know I could add these in individually, but is there any way to do the job as an automated process?

any help would be much appreciated.

Pak you can run all the csv files though in one hit using the Downloader I posted some screen shots on another thread on how to set the down loader up I will see if I can find it.

thanks for the reply Ifocus. I think I have seen the thread you are referring to... I thought that those instructions would only allow you to do single files, not a whole collection of files...or have I lost the plot? hopefully so, as I really wanna get this set up

With the down loader you can select as many files as you like and it will work its way though them one at a time

yep it worked no worries....

it appears I had errors in some files which is why it died... am using the downloader now to put asx history in since 1997

You can use the down loader to make any adjustments to any stock data, like take out or reduce volume spikes, adjust splits etc.
