There are major protests outside Wall St against the bailout, yet a total media blackout on the protests!

If you scroll down on

http://www.jsmineset.com/home.asp

there are 5 or 6.

Was going to look up how to embed the video links directly, but don't have time at present. Maybe someone more tech savvy can do it.

ABC, CNN, CBS, NBS, Fox all silent! Half the problem in the US is the media is as controlled as Pravda was, yet at least the Russians knew it was all propaganda, lies and spin. In the US most people think it is all free.

Here is one. (Hopefully)

here you go,

heres a 4min video i can see mostly hippies on this clip.

i can see it now, next they will be screaming BAIL US OUT BAIL US OUT.

here you go,.

Thanks. I think a couple of the vids near the bottom were better.

If it was a G7 or G8 meeting footage of protestors would be on all channels.

PS. How do you post youtube links?

PPS I think as more things hit the fan. The LA riots of 91 will look like play stuff.

PS. How do you post youtube links?

you have to edit the ebbeded link from the youtube video and look for the object you can use. eg.

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/UePdl-pHZUo&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xcfcfcf&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/UePdl-pHZUo&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xcfcfcf&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

you can use text after the www.youtube.com copy this and ebbeded the link between.

I ve seen this on fox so i would not say a total media blackout.

Just looked like the normal rent a crowd to me,
away if they really wanted to protest the Industry they need to go mid town. As wall street is more a tourist street now, there is more apartments then finance firms, there's even a Tiffany's, and a great little juice bar.

When are they going to protest against the idiots that actually signed on for these loans. The end users of Sub-Slime loans and bull market real-estate junkies??

I mean come on :( If hundreds of thousands sign up for loans they can't afford its not only the EVIL bankers that are at fault that gave them the loans.

Yeh but who would so stupid to lend out heaps of cash to people who probably are not going to pay it back...? Its the bankers fault for either not knowing or not caring that they couldnt afford the loans imo :2twocents

you expect the general public to act like a bunch of retards and fully exploit anything offered to them, its like the public space argument where everyone is happy to use it to its fullest but there is no incentive to put anything back. that just seems to be the nature of the species so good luck trying to change it.

corporations on the other hand have vision statements and ethics policies and social responsibility charters (westpac will never stfu about theirs) because they hold a great deal of power and responsibility. the leaders of these corporations with all these lofty ideals then take the piss out of the rest of society with their pay deals and record profits while screwing everyone else out of their homes if they fall on hard times.

the system needs a shakeup and some bankers needs their heads kicked in, but not much will change, it will probably get worse as theres only 3 banks left in america now and what rapacious beasts they will be.

maybe during the fallout some economists will start throwing out some alternative theories and we can look at redesigning the global economic system or something, but one thing is certain, capitalism is voracious and it will eventually devour the planet.

Finally... blood on the streets... this could well be the turning point that bottom pickers are looking out for...

A few more of this type of story.... and it's time to crack the piggy bank and start buying up !!!

What's the saying... 'it's darkest before dawn'??? well... it's pretty dark atm :p
