Market close notifications (push or email)

Heya,

I'm looking for some simple push or email notifications via a website or app. Ive had no luck so far searching for this service!

Id like to get a market close notification every trading day for certain stocks and indexes that ideally also states the % change.

- S&P 500
- ASX stocks

Id like to wake up to see a notification of overnight trade. Similarly with ASX trade at close.

Anyone know of a free service that does this? Im on Commsec.

i use Bell Direct ( as one of my platforms ) and was unaware of such a service , but am NOT saying you are wrong

The alert management screen will allow you to create and amend the following types of alerts:

1. Stock Alerts - create an alert online to be notified by SMS when:
   • a price rise above or falls below a specified value
   • a company announcement is released

but that comes at 55 cents per SMS

I use bell direct but am afraid these alerts are only asx related, not US market

i'm on Bell Direct , but have never used the alerts ( either on Bell or Commsec )

the rationale at the time of joining ( Commsec and Bell ) i was sometimes when working the mobile had to be turned off or at least at a distance from the actual workplace

and now i have retired , i can watch the market any time i am awake ( except those pesky hospital sections )

rcw1 gets a data dump in this format, via email, late evening every business day. rcw1 has probably a hundred or so stocks which comes to me in the below format. There are many other things you can tell Commsec to do at no cost:

How do get this?
Go to settings CommSec home page.
Then see subscriptions and applications, have a play, as what you want should be in there somewhere, some really good stuff within this. With international markets, from memory do need CommSecIRESS where there is a fee only if you have not placed at least 8 trades or incurred a $220 brokerage in the same calendar month ... Personally, cannot recall ever being charged a fee to use IRESS as rcw1 trades constantly. rcw1 uses the advanced charting macro within IRESS not to trade international market.
